Spending 26.2 hours (not miles) running around the mountains looking for checkpoints on mountain bike, foot and canoe may not sound like fun to some people, but it sure does to me. Throw in some rappelling in there for good measure and count me in!
Raced this past weekend in as part of Team Checkpoint Zero at the NCARS Pisgah 26.2 hour adventure race. We cleared 57 checkpoints covering over 75 miles of mountain biking, 25 miles of running, 10 miles of paddling with over 9,800 feet of climbing, finishing up second place coed. Fun, but tough race put on by NCARS
