Sure enough, as soon as I took off swimming, it was EXTREMELY painful. Every couple of strokes I could feel a pop and a crackle (which I’m still trying to figure out) which resulted in a sharp pain. I hadn’t even gone 100 meters and I had to turn around to head back to the shore.
