My wife blogged about my walk. She has put into words what I have struggled to communicate. Although I did the walk, she is the true hero in all of this. She endures this disease day in and day out. She has to deal with the physical and mental problems of it. What I did was only a small thing to help find a cure. It was such a small sacrifice compared to her strong perseverance as she goes through daily life.
