Andrew and I just went for a COLD open water swim. Now we’re headed out for a bike and run.

Felt great to get out in the rain and run off the week’s stress with no agenda. Gravel roads were a muddy mess, but still made a smile come across my face.⁣
And in flip flops... Wow.
34°F / 1°C isn’t too cold, but add in rain and it’ll chill you to your bones. I’d much rather be running in those temps dry (and with snow even) over that of cold rain.
Bailey came home with us in October of 2008 (top picture) and left us last night (bottom). She brought lots of love, laughter and companionship to this house. She grew up with kids and grandkids (Jonah nicknamed her “B”) and loved them all. Quick to play, especially with a balloon, and had bionic ears that could hear a food wrapper a mile away. You will be missed, Bailey. We love you.
The cold and rain didn’t stop us from getting outside and running. Don’t let weather stop you. You might actually find it to be more fun and interesting. Great run with a Danny, Mike, Chris and Lee. ⠀
