With more than 15 years of supporting athletes across multiple sports in ambassador, clinic, and race-director roles, Marcus has built deep expertise in disciplines ranging from off-road triathlon and trail running to his true passion—swimrun. By 2024, he had completed over 80 triathlons, 20 adventure races, and 50 swimrun races, giving him a unique and intimate perspective on the athlete experience. Along the way, he has led countless triathlon and swimrun clinics, served as a sport ambassador, directed both triathlon and swimrun events, and today is proud to be co-race director of the legendary Rockman Swimrun.

Marcus’ swimrun journey began in 2015 at Rockman, followed later that same season by the ÖTILLÖ World Championship—before it officially carried the “World Championship” title. Since then, his athletic and professional focus has centered on swimrun. As a member of Team Envol since 2020, he has been deeply engaged with the community in both Sweden and the U.S., fully embracing the Envol philosophy.
